Shipping & Returns
All pricing within our store is displayed and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD), and all orders are dispatched using Australia Post or our preferred courier.
Online orders to be delivered within Australia should be received within five to ten business days. The customer will be notified if items purchased are out of stock or if there is a delayed delivery time frame.
All goods are thoroughly examined before packaging to ensure they are sent in A1 condition. Whilst we accept no responsibility for parcels lost or damaged within the postal system please notify us if your parcel doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged and we will look into it for you.
If your goods arrive broken, Australia Post will request to view them before any claims can be made.
We highly recommend you use Registered Post if you are concerned about lost or damaged parcels.
Benefits of using Registered Post
Registered Post gives you:
- proof that the article was sent when lodged at the post office counter
- proof that the article was received - a signature is obtained on delivery
- Compensation for loss or damage of the article up to $100 for a standard registered delivery.
Email us at email@example.com with your request to have your parcel sent via Registered Post and we will calculate the price and notify you via return email.
Post Office boxes will only be accepted for smaller post able items. Large items will be sent via Fast Away Couriers or Couriers Please and Post Offices Boxes will not be accepted as addresses for delivery.
We will endeavour to deliver goods to you on the agreed delivery dates but we will not be liable for late delivery. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancel the purchase. Delivery is deemed to occur when goods are delivered to your nominated delivery point. All deliveries are completed through Australia Post, COURIER PLEASE or FASTWAY COURIERS.
Backorders - Out of stock items
Every effort is made to deliver your product in reasonable time. Subject to goods and availability, The Look: at Home will deliver the goods you have ordered to the address you specify in your order form, as fast as possible. Orders are processed and despatched daily, after payment is received for the goods. We will always endeavour to complete and despatch your order promptly, however at times this may be delayed, due to circumstances that may be out of our control.
Returns, Refund & Exchanges
We have carefully selected our products for sale, however if you are not happy with your purchase or the product is faulty or damaged, you may return the purchased item in an unused condition and in original packaging within 5 days of receipt and we will provide a full product refund (delivery costs excluded). No Questions asked. All that we ask is that you return the product in its original condition and in its original packaging via Registered Post. We also require that you include a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase and your return address so that we can process the return promptly.
For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of personal type items.
Alternatively you may elect to exchange your product for another of the same value. We reserve the right to charge return freight for any replacement product. Please Note that computer screens may show different colours variations to the actual product colour. Every attempt has been made to show and describe the colours as they appear. The LOOK: at Home cannot be held responsible for colour variations.
Person to be at delivery point
Items are delivered via FASTWAY COURIERS, COURIER PLEASE or Australia Post. If it is not possible to have a person at the nominated address to receive the goods, the customer is to nominate another address where the goods can be left as they will be not be delivered to any nominated doorstep without a signature.
Responsibility will not be taken by The Look: at Home or FASTWAY COURIERS, COURIER PLEASE or Australia Post if items that are left at the nominated address are lost or damaged.
Delivery point information
You agree to provide all relevant details regarding access to the delivery point such as whether there are stairs, elevators, steep driveway and you acknowledge that we will not be held responsible if those details are incomplete or inaccurate.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations for products that have already been shipped.
